On Nov. 25, 2025, CHA submitted a letter to the administration urging an exemption for health care-related professionals — including pediatric clinicians and biomedical researchers — from the new $100,000 H-1B visa fee and related restrictions.

The letter highlights the significant impact these changes would have on the pediatric workforce and underscores the essential role international professionals play in sustaining access to specialized pediatric care and research.
